Entries are now open for our first Club Gala of 2024, which is our first Club Gala since 2022!
The closing date for entries is 1st May. If you are entering an event your child hasn’t swum before please ask their coach for an estimated time. Entries cost £2 per event and should be submitted on your SCDS account in the usual way.
The gala will be held on Tuesday, 7th May during our Tuesday Club night – full details are in the attached conditions document. Please note although we have applied for a licence for the gala it has not been granted yet. We very much hope it will be licenced at Level 4 and will be run under technical rules.
The 25m Breaststroke event is only open to swimmers in B2 Squad. Swimmers in this squad can also enter the 50m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke events at the discretion of their coach, but are not eligible to enter the 200m Butterfly event.
With only three events available for Top Squad and the A Squads, swimmers are encouraged to enter all three; 50m Freestyle , 100m Backstroke and the 200m Butterfly events. The 100m Backstroke event is the first chance for swimmers to achieve Club Championship points.
