If you are interested in joining Darlington Amateur Swimming Club, firstly email membership@darlingtonasc.co.uk

Include the following information within your email:

• Parent/Guardian contact details (Name, Telephone & Email)
• Swimmer Detail (Name, DOB)
• Brief background to swimmer (Level on NPTS, attended any previous clubs etc)
• Advise if the swimmer has any siblings at the Club.

We do not have a rigid minimum age or minimum ability for youngsters to try out for the club. A rough guide is that swimmers aged 7-9 should have achieved at a minimum Level 7 and be working towards level 8 on the NPTS (National Plan for Teaching Swimming) or be at an equivalent standard. Older swimmers will generally need to be of a higher standard than this because of their age, with 11 and overs expected to have already achieved at least Level 10 or equivalent.
