Event Overview
Entries are now open for Top and A1 DASC squads for the City of Sunderland ASC New Year Meet 2026, taking place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th January 2026 at Sunderland Aquatic Centre.
This event is a Level 1 Licensed Meet (Licence No: 1NE260108), held under Swim England laws and technical rules, and is suitable for swimmers aiming to achieve qualification times for national and regional competitions.
Events & Qualifying Times
This meet uses lower qualifying times. Swimmers must have achieved a time equal to or faster than the stated entry standard since 1st July 2024. All times must be Long Course (50m) or converted to 50m using Swim England conversion tables.

Event Format
Age as of: 31st December 2026
Age Groups: 10/11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16/Over
Events: 50m, 100m and 200m of all strokes, 200m and 400m Individual Medley, 400m Freestyle, and 800m & 1500m Freestyle (Mixed)
All events will be Heat Declared Winners.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 swimmers in each age group.
Para swimmers will be ranked on a multi-classification basis using British Disability Points.

Entry Fee: £9.25 per event / £13.25 for 800m & 1500m Freestyle
